J.V. Wrestling Championships
Who is eligible: Any wrestler from a South Central PA High School who is not scheduled to compete at their Sectional Tournament the following weekend (These JV wrestlers would still be eligible for Sectionals if an injury or illness occurs to a Varsity wrestler during the following week.)
Entry Fees: $15 per wrestler / $150 per team of 10 or more wrestlers
(Entry Fees can be paid any time leading up to and including the day of the tournament. Make checks payable to Red Lion Wrestling Booster Club.)
Awards: Trophies for champions / medals for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th / Team trophies for top 2 teams
Team Scores: Only the points for the highest placing wrestler for a school per weight class will be counted. Team Points will be scored as follows -
14 points for a 1st place finish, 10 pts. for a 2nd, 7 pts. for a 3rd, and 4 pts. for a 4th place finisher
Weigh-ins: Weigh-ins will be held at 8:30AM at the Red Lion Area Jr. High School. The School and scales will be open at 8:00 for weight checks.
Seeding Info:The included weight/seeding form will need to be faxed, or info must be emailed to me by 2:00PM on Thursday, February 7th. Changes will be allowed by phone or email on the 8th, up to 7:00PM. If a wrestler doesn’t make weight Saturday morning, he will be scratched from the tournament.

Bout Length: All bouts wrestled will be 1 min. 30 second periods. First consolation round begins with quarter final losers.
